Why “from”?
Because a return with three rental properties and a K-1 is not the same job as a W-2 and a mortgage. The starting price is what a straightforward version costs. After a twenty-minute call and a short intake, you get a quote that reflects the value of the work, the hours it takes, and any third-party software fees. That is what you pay.
How is it billed?
Through your secure client portal. Annual plans can be paid up front or monthly; Partnered is monthly. Invoices, receipts, and payment all live in the same place as your documents, so nothing arrives by email. Third-party software fees, such as tax filing and payroll platforms, are billed at cost.
Can I move between plans?
Yes, at any renewal. Most clients start with Filed, see what the advisory note catches, and step up to Planned the following year. Owners usually come in at Partnered once they have stopped enjoying doing their own books.
Who actually does the work?
Chris leads every engagement and signs what goes out. Behind him is a team of CPAs, payroll, and admin staff, so the work moves faster and costs less than any one person could manage — and your point of contact stays Chris.
